Basic structure and performance of the barrel type internal filter vacuum filter

The structure of the cylindrical internal filter vacuum filter is as shown in the figure below.

The cylindrical internal filter vacuum filter is a hollow cylinder, and the slurry is carried in the cylinder. The inner surface of the cylinder is divided into a plurality of sections, and the outer surface of the cylinder communicates with the pipe and the distribution head, and the inner surface of the cylinder is covered with a hole. The plate is covered with a filter cloth, and the filter cloth is fixed on the tweezers plate by a bead to form a filter chamber. The slurry is fed into the cylinder through the feed chute and a filter cake is formed in the lower filtration zone. As the cylinder rotates, the filter cake is blotted dry, blown loose, and unloaded on the belt conveyor by the scraper at the upper portion of the cylinder.
In the formation of the filter cake, the cylindrical internal filter vacuum filter can form a thicker filter cake by means of the gravity of the concentrate particles itself, in addition to the pressure of the vacuum. Moreover, the filter cake is stratified, and the particles with larger particle size in the slurry have a fast sedimentation speed, first attached to the filter cloth, and the fine particle size is slow to settle, and then adheres to the filter cloth, and the filter cake has good gas permeability. It can also reduce the blockage of the filter cloth. However, it is bulky and inconvenient to observe, and it is difficult to replace the filter cloth.
