The physical vapor deposition--PVD--is a technology used to deposit thin metallic layers on several types of substrate.The process is carried out under vacumme where the metals that will be deposited(zirconim,tianium,chrome) are evaoporated.Due to the kinetic energy and the outstanding pptential applied on the blade,the metallic ions are atttracted to the blade surface to be coated,together with a process gas forming the desired coating.

The PVD is indicated to innovative products and that need to meet high tribological standards(surface hardness and abrasion,scratch and corrosion resistance.)
