Nantong COSCO Heavy Industry won 7 gantry crane orders
On March 18th, 2016, Nantong COSCO Heavy Industries and Russia Zvezda Shipyard held the signing ceremony of the “Drawer Projectâ€. The project consists of one 1200T gantry crane, four 100-ton door base machines and two 320T gantry cranes. The Zvezda shipyard is one of the largest shipyards in Russia and the project is also an important part of the Russian President Putin’s revitalization of the Russian shipbuilding program.
General Manager Zhao Zengshan of Nantong COSCO Heavy Industries and Mr. Evgeny Kraynov of Russia Zvezda Shipyard signed the contract on behalf of both parties. Mr. Sechin, President of Russian Petroleum Corporation, Mr. Shishkin, Vice President, and Deputy General Manager of China Ocean Shipping Group Wang Yuhang, General Manager Li Yuping of COSCO Shipbuilding Industry Co., Ltd. and Secretary of Ma Jianhua witnessed the signing of the two parties.
Prior to signing the contract, Mr. Wang Yuhang, Deputy General Manager of China Ocean Shipping Group, and Mr. Sechin, President of PetroChina, held talks. Deputy General Manager Wang Yuhang, on behalf of Chairman of China Ocean Shipping Group Xu Lirong, General Manager Wan Min welcomed the visit of President of Russian Petroleum Corporation.
