"Three bases" industry development plan issued in the field of machinery

Recently, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has issued the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan for Development of Mechanical Basic Parts, Basic Manufacturing Processes and Basic Materials Industry”.

The plan implements the spirit of the Twelfth Five-Year Plan for National Economic and Social Development and the Plan for Industrial Transformation and Upgrade (2011-2015), and summarizes the development of basic mechanical parts, basic manufacturing processes, and basic materials industries. Based on the status quo, the development goals and ideas for the “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” were clarified, and the key points and major tasks for industrial development were identified, and related safeguard measures were put forward.

The implementation of the plan will further enhance the overall level of development and international competitiveness of China's mechanical basic parts, basic manufacturing processes and basic materials industry.
