Therefore, forging is usually given priority to workpieces that require relatively high strength and heavy load-bearing. Because the forging process is a process of up and down pressing, the structure of the workpiece cannot be too complicated, and only some workpieces with a relatively simple structure can be formed. If the structure of some workpieces is relatively complex, we can form a structure that can be forged, and then obtain the desired structure through subsequent secondary CNC machining, but the relative cost will be relatively high.

The original design of the water source deep well submersible pump was made of cast iron material and there was no mouth ring. Due to the high sand content of the groundwater, the impeller would wear through after 2 to 3 months of pump operation and the clearance of the water seal ring exceeded the standard, causing a serious drop in flow. Wells must be overhauled. To this end, the Department through a number of investigations and experiments, the use of high-chromium wear-resistant alloy for the slurry pump as impeller, non-metallic wear-resistant material for the sleeve and mouth ring, completely solved the above problems. At present, the five new technology deep-well submersible pumps installed by the Department at the beginning of the year have performed well and the efficiency ratio has increased by about 10%. After the material is expected to be updated, the overhaul period of the pump will exceed one year.
In addition, the air-cooled heat exchanger core of the air-separation system is welded with carbon steel tubes and tube plates, and the mud on the circulating water side of the tube plate is heavily adhered, causing corrosion under the scale. Therefore, when cleaning the heat exchanger every year, each heat exchanger will find multiple weld leaks. In response to this situation, the Ministry selected the Belzona paint, which is known as a cermet, to be used for brushing corrosion protection on the weld surface. After one year of operation, this year's inspection of the heat exchanger revealed that the anti-corrosion surface was almost intact, and the amount of surface slime adhered was very small and the effect was very good. At present, this method has been widely promoted in the Ministry. In June of this year, they also used this material to be turnable, and applied it to the repair of severe corrosion of the diffuser pipe of an air compressor in an air separation plant.
